This weekend, the weather was just beautiful! Andrew was just finishing his spring break, and the blue bonnets were blooming. I decided that we needed to get a few pictures of Kaitlyn with the Texas State flower, the bluebonnet. Apparently, this is like a right of passage here. Moms from all over the state venture out during the month of March to find the perfect location to snap some photos of their kids in a beautiful field of bluebonnets. We found a few patches right here in Kingwood! I was about to drive 45 minutes to a well-known bluebonnet meadow when I remembered that someone had mentioned to me that I could find them closer to home. Here a few of the pictures. (And thanks to my assistant Andrew for making it happen.)
On Saturday, we went to the Kemah Boardwalk and met up with our friends that live in Katy. Here are some pictures of that!
