We're expecting!

We are so excited to be expecting our first baby in April. My due date is April 26, 2011. So far the pregnancy has gone great! Of course, the first 3 or 4 months weren't too fun, but the second trimester was great. Now I am just starting on my third trimester.

As far as we know, we are expecting a baby girl. She was being either very modest or very stubborn during the ultrasound, so we're about 90% sure it's a girl. Here are some fun facts about the pregnancy so far...

Timetable: 27 weeks along
Fetus Name: Cletus
Baby's Name: Kaitlyn Rae (not sure about the spelling yet)
Weight Gain: As of my last Dr. appointment, I have gained 17 pounds so far. My next visit is on Feb. 7th, so I'm sure I'll have gained a few pounds to add to that total. Looks like I'm right on track!
Fetal Movement: She moves all the time! I especially notice that she goes crazy after I eat something sweet.....that might be important to remember later in life. :) She also likes to do her daily stretching and exercises right before mommy's bedtime.
Baby Supplies: So far, not much. 3 outfits ranging from newborn to 12 months, a Halloween costume, glider chair, Boppy, nursing cover, carrier sling, and some bottles. We plan on purchasing more items after the baby shower.
